We heard from Oliver that real life was limiting his personal time and wouldn't be turning up. He would let us know what will happen with Charlie but we expect to lose him as well.

Session Overview
In-game Date: 20 Falkhyn 1197md, Mid-morning
- As a reminder since it's been several weeks, the characters were currently stood at the entrance of the dungeon. They have no proper food, have injuries and a general spine-chilling malaise.
- There are trails leading in and out of the rubble, going north, south, and east.
- They all converge on a large opening in the centre of what was once a large building.
- Here, there is a black hole in the earth with a large circular stairway leading down into darkness.
- The heroes make preparations: Magpie casts Darksight on Davian, Garax has taken a torch from Elowen and Magpie has cast Light.
- Elowen uses her Shapechange spell to convert herself into a small bat.
- She flies her way into the dungeon and explores what she can.
- She finds the main room, four occupants, and a statue. She follows the passages and finds several doors and rooms, and returns before the spell will end.
- After she tells the group her findings, they make their way down the stairway and stood in the entrance for the dungeon.
- They slowly walk along the passageway. As they approached, they could hear the sounds of breathing, muttering and the noise of rattling against a wall.
- The walls of this dungeon are a mixture of stone, brick, and the granite bedrock. For the most part, the walls are all intact, if not a little worse for wear.
- The passage opens into a large room.
There is a large statue in the centre of the room depicting a maleficent-looking creature with two large, curved horns protruding from its head. In front of the statue on the floor is a small golden bowl. Elsewhere, there is a long roughly hewn table with several chairs around it. There are flagons on the table and the smell of stale beer permeates the air. Several piles of hay with blankets on them are lumped against a wall, while a make–shift fire has been set in the middle of the room, giving the entire room a ghastly red glow.

There are four goblins in the room now. These goblins are not keeping a good lookout; two are asleep, one is drunk and the other is rolling some dice against a wall.

Garax throws the lit torch onto the sleeping goblins, setting them aflame.

Davian Rusparva|Davian]] fires an arrow at the goblin that is rolling dice, and skewers the creature's head to the wall, killing it.

The flaming goblins try to extinguish themselves; one dies from the injuries whilst the other is killed by Garax.

The heroes think for a bit and then realises that the entire dungeon is suffused with Darkness, and all of them are Light-aligned except for Glint who is actually Grey-aligned.

The group decide to head right through the door. As they make their way, they choose to take the right turning at each junction.

The map above shows what they found and the red line is their route.
This room once housed two large beings. The ceiling in here is very high, and several deep alcoves were built in it to make them feel even more at home. They were responsible for construction, mining and related activities.
The rotted and rusted remains of the tools of their craft still remain in the room. There are very large picks, shovels, and hammers heaped up in one corner of the room. Chisels, smaller hammers, and other large–sized stone-working implements are in another. Each of the alcoves contains old and rotted piles of fur and tanned hides. When searched, roaches, mice, spiders, and other vermin scatter.
- Davian does a careful search and find a small bag of coins.
- As the party leaves the room and heads right, Garax notices that the floor is sagging and is in danger of collapsing see the yellow below the word Entry.
- Close inspection reveals a sagging floor with broken and cracked masonry, so Garax tells everyone to follow him one-by-one.
- By taking their time, the floor does not crash down.
- The following two rooms are empty, save for general debris and rubble.
- Going through the door, and around the corner, the party can hear voices and can see light in the next room.
This used to house four priests of this dungeon. Usually, it would houses about 10 goblins, but at the moment, there are only four goblins in the room and they are gambling, arguing, and drinking some mash whiskey they stole from Malforten. The room is cluttered with blankets, hay, old foodstuffs, roaches, and other vermin. A large brazier is in the middle of the room, providing light, and a small keg of lamp oil sits in one corner of the room.
- Magpie uses Elemental Manipulation to increase the size of the fire, causing three of the goblins to catch fire.
- Garax rushes at the lone, uninjured goblin and smote it down with furious malice.
- Glint takes down one of the goblins with a swing of each of his hand axes.
- Davian attempts to kill one of the goblins but his aim is somewhat lacking, the arrow striking the brazier and ricocheting off to slice Elowen's shoulder.
- Magpie finishes off one goblin with a Bolt whilst Garax eliminates the last.
- Davian searches the bodies and finds some loose change.
- Elowen glares at Davian as she assesses her injury. Thankfully, she only has some minor cuts which she places a poultice on it.
- The party follow the remaining passages, finding several small rooms, cluttered with debris and unusable objects.
- They find themselves at the main entry, so they followed their previous route through the door and went left instead of going right.
- The party found themselves at a crossway. To the left, a small room with rubbish; to the right, a door; and ahead, a door ahead with a passage going left before it.
This room was the well chamber, producing water for the inhabitants of the temple. There was a hole in the roof where buckets could be lowered down into the shaft in the floor, but it was covered up when a wall on the surface collapsed and fell on top of it. The well encasement is still here and fairly intact, though one can no longer draw water from it. A retractable pulley mechanism is still located beside the well. Along the walls are various tubs and buckets, some wood, some metal.
- As the group search the well chamber, they are ambushed by a giant spider which jumps onto Glint.
- Glint and Davian draw their weapons and attack the spider.
- Elowen keeps away, moving herself to the doorway of the well chamber.
- Two swift blows from the heroes, causes the spider to be killed and falls into the well.
- Magpie (being Impulsive) and Garax (being Overconfident) decided to head straight ahead. opening the door and stepping in.
At one time this room would have been more than a storeroom for incoming goods for the dungeon. The room is currently used as a loot collection point. Four goblins are in here going through boxes, looking for something to eat, like dried meat or salted fish. There is a large mangy dog with the goblins. The dog is sniffing around some of the crates.
The goblins have broken open every box and crate in the room, and there are piles of cloth, rope, beaver pelts, and other odds and ends lying about. Additionally, there are several crates of apples, potatoes, dried beans, and other assorted foodstuffs in the crates. Some salted fish has been found, and the goblins are eating it as if it were their last meal.
- The dog heard them approaching and began growling, attracting the attention of the goblins and allowing them to prepare for an ambush.
- Garax pushes Magpie behind him, and backs out through the door.
- The goblins make an attack before the dwarf can get through the door and close it.
- Two of the goblins miss but the remaining manage to make a palpable hit, leaving Garax taking two wounds.
- The dog barks and yelps for a bit and then dashes off down the hallway, looking for its master.
- The pair manage to close the door and Magpie casts a Lock spell on it, sealing it for several hours.
- As the pair make their way back to the well, Magpie could hear the sound of wolves, growling and yelping.
- He realises that there was no way to block the passageway so he fired off a large, heavy-duty Bolt at the ceiling, collapsing it with rubble and providing some protection.
- As he and Garax head back to the well chamber, he realises that the door that leads to the exit, was missing.
